Savoury Muffins

Muffins......the first thing that come to our mind is something sweet...plain or chocolaty. But these muffins that I have baked are the savoury type stuffed with spicy masala prawns.

For the muffins;(Makes 4)
Self raising flour -2cups
Eggs-2
Milk-1/2 cup
Butter /oil-3tbsp
Salt as per taste

For the stuffing;
Prawns-1cup-cooked
Onions-1,minced
Green chillies-2,minced
Ginger,garlic paste-1tsp
Any masala powder/garam masala-1tsp
Turmeric-1/4tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil-2tbsp
Egg white-1egg

First mix the ingredients for the muffins together and leave it aside.
Heat oil in a pan add the onion,ginger-garlic paste and salt.Saute it till cooked. Now add the prawns and the spices.Mix well. When done leave it to cool down.
Now take a greased muffin tray.Scoop some dough and line the base of the tray. Add some fillling and then cover it with another scoop of dough.Brush with egg white.Bake in a preheated oven at 180deg cel for 20 to 30 mins.

Serve with a hot cup of tea!!!!!!!
