Capsicum and Chicken Pulao

Basmati rice- 1cup
Capsicum-1,roughly chopped
Onion-1,finely chopped
Green chillies-2,slit
Curry leaves-10
Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
Whole spices-cardamoms-2.cloves-3,cinnamon-1inch,bay leaves-2
Pepper powder-1tsp
Salt as per taste

Heat oil  and add the whole spices.Roast it for few seconds then add the ginger garlic paste.Saute for a minute and then add the onion,green chilles and curry leaves.Saute it well.Add in the capsicum,chicken, pepper and salt.Stir it in to coat the chicken well and allow to cook for 5 mins.Add the washed rice and the water.Close the lid and cook until rice cooked.Fluff the rice with a fork.
Serve hot!!!!!!!!!!

Hi biny...do not post my comment. Pulav looks a bit sticky..you should roast the soaked rice for atleast 5 minutes before u add water. After one whistle open the lid aftr 5 minutes...or else it will become like porridge
