Malu's Prawns Roast

Her name is Sarika but we all call her Malu.She is a sweet, charming, simple but beautiful daughter of Girija chechi and Satheesh chettan.With long hair and beautiful eyes she can win over anyone.An aspiring violinist and excellent artist-that was how I knew Malu but today she showed a new talentby making this lipsmacking prawns roast and proved that she has surely inherited her mother's genes.

Before I start let me tell u that the pics and recipe are Malus and I have not made any changes.

Ingredients;
Prawns-cleaned;20 to 25
Onions-2 thinly sliced lengthwise
Ginger-1/2inch,minced
Green chillies-2,thinly sliced
Curry leaves-1sprig
Tomato-1 finely chopped
Coconut oil-1+1tbsp
Chilli powder-2tsp
Pepper powder-1tsp
Turmeric-1/2tsp
Water-1/4cup
Salt as per taste

Add 1 tbsp oil in a kadai.When its hot enough add in the onions,ginger,green chillies and curry leaves.Saute it till onions are cooked.Now add the chilli and pepper powder,turmeric and salt.When the raw smell is gone add the tomato and let it cook.Add the prawns with the water and allow it to cook.When done allow the water to completely evaporate.Pour in a tbsp of coconut oil before switching off the flame!!!!!!!!!
Serve with rice or rotis.We had it with pitta bread and it was amazing.
