In a sauce pan pour in the tomato puree.Add the powdered spices.Let it come to a boil and then cook on a medium to low flame until the water almost dries out. Heat the oil in a separate pan. Saute the onion and capsicum until half cooked. Keep it aside.Add the ginger garlic paste and the chicken pieces. Sprinkle some salt.Allow the chicken to cook well.Then pour in the cooked tomato mix.Stir well to coat the chicken.Add the sauted onion and bell peppers.Pour in the boiling water and allow to cook for a further 3 to 4 mins.Mix in the cream and then switch off the flame.Crush dried fenugreek leaves and sprinkle on top.
I have not added cream and it tasted equally good.
