Curd Rice


Ingredients;
Boiled Rice-2cups,cooled 
Thick Curd-2cups
Shallots-5,finely chopped
Ginger-1/2tsp,finely chopped
Green chilly-1,finely chopped
Asafoetida/Hing-1pinch
Salt as per taste.
For tadka;
Oil-2tbsp
Chana dal-1tsp
Urad dal-1/2tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2tsp
Cumin seeds-1pinch
Fenugreek seeds-1pinch
Curry leaves-2sprigs
Dry Red chilli-2
Add the yogurt,shallots,ginger,chilly,hing and salt to the rice.Mix well.
Now heat the oil in a pan and add the chana,roast it and then splutter the mustards and  add the urad dal,fenugreek and cumin seeds,curry leaves and chillies.Roast it for a minute on a low flame.Allow this to cool down before adding this to the rice.Mix well and serve chilled.

Curd rice can be eaten jlt or with the most easy or exotic side dish.Its really good for the tummy and is super quick to make.
