Kormas are delicious.In this recipe i have tried to make it healthy but u can make it rich with cream or cashew paste.
Ingredients:
prawns -cleaned and deveined-12 to 15
peas-1/2 cup
cauliflower-1/2cup
carrot-1/2cup
potatoes 1/2cup
capsicum-1/4cup
tomatoes-2
green chilli-1
cumin powder-1tsp
turmeric-1tsp
chilli powder1/4 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tbsp
salt to taste
coriander leaves to garnish
oil-1-11/2tbsp
H2o-1cup
cream-optional
Boil the vegetables(exclude capsicum) and prawns with salt and turmeric until cooked.
Heat oil add cut tomatoes and green chilli.saute it till cooked well add in the spices and saute it .Grind this mixture with 1/2 cup water.In a pan pour 1tsp oil and saute the capsicum with a pinch of salt for 1-2 minutes, then add in the tomato paste,heat it and add the vegetables and prawns with 1/2 cup water.cook on a medium flame for 3 -4minutes.Add salt if needed.You may add 4-5tbsp of cream if required.but the sauce is smooth delicious without it as well.Garnish with coriander.Serve with rice,appam or chappati!!
