Prawns Stew




Ingredients;
Prawns-1/2 kg- cleaned and cooked with salt and turmeric
Potato-1 large-boiled and cut into small pieces
tomatoes-2 large cut into pieces
ginger garlic minced-2tbsp
green chilli-2
cumin powder-1tsp
garam masala-1tsp
turmeric-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
coriander-2 sprig
oil 2 tbsp
coconut milk-3tbsp(optional)
H20-50 mls

Saute the  ginger and garlic in a pan.When done add the tomatoes and chilli.Saute it till the tomatoes are cooked .Now add the cumin powder,garam masala,salt and turmeric.roast it till the raw smell is gone.add the water and grind it to form a smooth gravy.Now heat this gravy and add the potatoes and the prawns.Add a little water if its too thick.Close the lid and cook for 5 mins on medium flame.Pour in the coconut milk ,off the flame and mix it well.Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with appam, bread, chappati or rice.
