Plantain surprise

Raw plantain fried like fish is a  very good veggie snack or a side dish.the recipe as such is easy and tastes great.


Ingredients;
Raw plantain(Banana)-3 in nos
Chilli powder/pepper powder-1tsp
Cumin powder-1tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
Semolina(Rava)-2tbsp
Salt as per taste
Oil for shallow frying-4 to 5 tbsp


Peel the plantains and cut it lengthwise.Cut it with 1/2cm thickness;do not cut it too thin as then it becomes very crispy.Now mix te chilli,turmeric,cumin and salt.Apply i on to the sliced plantains.Heat oil in a flat pan.Dip each plantain in the semolina and fry it on both sides for 1 to 2 mins.
Serve with sauce or jlt!!!!!!!!!!!
