Wholemeal and Apple Bread


 Ingredients;
Green apples-2,peeled and chopped
Wholemeal flour-1cup
Oats-1/2cup (optional)
Plain flour-1cup
Sugar-5tsp or Honey-3tbsp
Cardamom Seeds-3 to4
Soda Bicarb-1/4tsp
Baking Powder-1/4tsp
Egg-1
Milk-1/2cup or more
Yogurt-1/4 cup
Nuts-1/2cup,roughly chopped
Raisins-1/2cup
Seeds-3tbsps (sesame seeds, linseed,sunflower and melon seeds)

In a dry grinder add the oats,sugar and cardamom seeds.Powder it  and sieve it.Now add in the wholemeal and plain flour.Also add in the soda bicarb and baking powder and mix well.In a separate bowl beat the egg,pour in the yogurt,milk and honey if using and stir well.Make a well in the centre of the sieved flour and pour in the egg-milk mix and fold it to make a bread mix.Then add the nuts,raisins and apples and fold well.If the dough is too tight add in some milk.Preheat the oven at 180 deg cel, fan mode for 10 mins.Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Scoop the dough into the tray and level it. Level the top of the bread and sprinkle the seeds.Gently press it and allow to bake for 40 to 45 mins. When done allow to sit on a cooling rack. Slice it and enjoy with a hot cuppa!!!!!!!!!

You may choose to use cinnamon instead of cardamom.
Stays fresh until next day.
