Ingredients;
Cherry-2cups,pitted and cut into halves
Ginger-1inch,minced
Garlic-1pod,minced
Chilli powder-1tbsp
Asafoetida(hing)-1/2tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2tsp
Fenugreek seeds-1/2tsp
Gingelly oil-1/2cup
Vinegar-1/2cup
Salt as per taste
Heat the oil,splutter the mustard seeds.Add the fenugreek.When it turns golden add in the ginger and garlic.Saute it for few seconds.Now add the chilli powder and hing.Mix well and then add in the cherries.Allow to slow cook for 3to 4 mins.Sprinkle salt.Mix well.When it cools down pour in the vinegar.
Best served with biriyanis,dalrice etc!!!!!!!
