Ingredients;
Irumban puli- 250 gms,cut into quaters,salted and dried in sun for a week
Ginger-1inch,minced
Garlic-1pod,each clove halved
Chilli powder-2tbsp
Fenugreek powder-1/2tsp
Hing/Asafoetida-1/2tsp
Turmeric-1/2tsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Fenugreek seeds-1/2tsp
Oil-1/2 cup
Salt as per taste.
Heat the oil in a pan.Add the fenugreek seeds.When its golden colour andd the mustard seeds.When the mustards splutter,add the ginger and garlic and stir fry for 1 to 2 mins.Add the chilli,hing and turmeric powder.When the raw smell is gone.Mix in the puli.Stir it well and let it cook for 2 mins.Switch off the flame.Allow it to cool and store in a glass jar.Adjust the salt.
