Ingredients;
Methi leaves-1cup,minced or chopped finely
Shallots-5,finely chopped
Garlic-2pods,finely chopped
Green chilli-1,finely chopped
Crushed black pepper-1/2tsp
Salt-1/2tsp
Asafoetido-1/4tsp
Wheat flour-11/2cup
Yogurt-5tbsp
Oil-1tbsp
Heat oil in a pan and add the minced shallots,garlic,chilli.Saute for a minute and add the fenugreek or methi leaves.Cook it until all the water evaporates.Add in the pepper,asafoetido and salt.Mix well.Cool this mix.Now add the flour to this.Mix well with the cooked leaves.Pour in the yogurt a little by little.Knead into a smooth dough.Lastly touch oil on to your palm and knead it well.Make small balls out of the dough.Flatten each ball into tortillas and roast on a hot pan like chappati.Apply ghee or oil if you prefer.
Serve with sweet yogurt or curry!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not back as such...ethakka appam was in my drafts so just put it up. Starting my 9th month soon...and once after delivery, you know how it is....no computer, no sitting online...and who'll have the time with 2 children!!!
