Maahi Pakodas/Fish Pakoras

Fish-500gms,boneless,white fish such as cod,haddock,or even prawns,anchovies
Gram flour/Besan-1/2 cup
Chilli powder/Paparika-1/2tsp
Fresh Coriander-2 to 3 sprigs,chopped finely
Water-50 mls
Salt as per taste
Oil to deep fry.

Onion-1 small,finely chopped
Coriander-2 sprigs,finely chopped
Lemon juice or Chat masala-1/2tsp

Cut the fish into thin strips.Mix the gram flour, chilli powder, coriander and salt.Add water slowly to make a very thick batter.Add the fish pieces and coat it with the batter.Heat the oil in a pan.Add the fish pieces and let it fry on a medium flame.I added it in 2 batches and it took 5 to 6 mins for each batch.
Take the pieces out on a plate lined with kitchen towel to drain excess oil.Now add the onion, coriander leaves and lemon juice or chat masala.Mix well and serve!!!!!!
