Vegetable Makhani




Ingredients
Cauliflower-1 small,florets,cleaned and seperated
Green peas-1/2 cup
Potatoes-2,cut into cubes
Microwave these vegetables with 1tsp salt for 8 mins.


For the gravy;
Onion-1/2
Tomatoes-2
Ginger-1/2 inch
Garlic-2 cloves
Chilli powder-1tsp
Garam Masala-1tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Salt -1tsp
Blend these together into a smooth paste.


Capsicum-1,cut into cubes
Oil or Butter 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce-2tbsp
Milk-50 mls
Kasuri methi-1tsp,crushed into powder(optional)
Cream 1/2cup or Philadelphia cream cheese 1tbsp(optional)






Heat oil in a pan and stir fr the capsicum for a minute.Next add the tomato onion puree and let it cook on a medium flame till it become thick.Stir in the tomato sauce.Add the microwaved vegetables and the milk.Stir well and close the lid.Allow it to cook for 3 to 4 mins.Lastly stir in the philadelphia cheese.Let it dissolve into the gravy.Sprinkle the powdered kasuri methi on top.Adjust the salt as per taste.
Garnish with chopped onions and coriander leaves.Drizzle some lemon juice just before serving
Serve with buns,rotis or rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!








You may  steam cook the cauliflower with peas and boil the potatoes.
I used red potatoes which cooks easily.
I used normal chilli powder but using Deggi Mirch gives more colour.
