Fish Pulao

Fish pulao;very rarely heard of.But believe me if you try it you will love it not only cos its tasty but also because its quick.I have used white fish.Preferrable use fillet or boneless cubes.

Ingredients;
Fish-1/2kg,small cubes
Basmati rice-1kg,soaked in water for 30 mins
Onions-3,finely sliced
Ginger garlic paste-11/2tbsp
Tomatoes-3 medium
Green chillies-3
Coriander leaves-1/2 cup
Water-800 mls
Red chilli powder-1tbsp
Turmeic-1tsp
Garam masala-1tbsp
Salt as per taste
Ghee or oil-3tbsp.

Grind the tomatoes,green chillies and coriander leaves into paste.Now saute the onion with ginger garlic paste.When the raw smell is gone add the powdered spices.Followed by the tomato paste.Let it cook for a minute or 2.Now add the fish and the water.When the water boils,add the rice and pressure cook it for 3 to 4 whistles.

Garnish with fried onions,lemon juice and coriander leaves.
Serve with raita!!!!!!!!!!
