Fish-I have used sardines;8 to 10
Grated frech coconut-3/4 cup
tomatoes-2 med sized
fennel powder/fennel seed-1/2tsp
tripala /triphal seeds-8 to 10,soaked in water(DO NOT EAT THESE)
Clean and wash the fish,keep it aside.Now grind together the coconut,tomatoes,onion,powdered spices and salt.Now pour this into a pan .Add the triphals with the water.When the gravy starts boiling put the fish pieces in.Cook it for 15 mins.Before switching off the flame make sure the gravy is thick and not too watery.
Serve with hot rice!!!!!!!!!
