Tomato Basil and Egg Pasta



Ingredients;
Pasta-2cups,cooked
Tomatoes-3 pureed or if using canned-1can
Onion -1,chopped
Garlic-2,minced
Basil -1/2cup, chopped
Eggs-3
Oil-2tbsp
Sugar-1/2tsp
Salt and pepper


Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion and garlic. Add in the tomatoes and cook well until it thickens.Add the sugar, salt and the chopped basil and cook until the oil separates. Drain the pasta and throw in the hot pasta into the sauce. Hot pasta absorbs more sauce than cold. Now add this pasta to a baking dish.Break 3 eggs and pour it over Sprinkle some salt and pepper and some basil leaves. Bake at 180 deg cel for 10-15mins or until the eggs are cooked.
Serve hot!!!!!!

Pasta is once a while affair for us. But since of late, I've been longing for it. Bought a pack of spaghetti and I have basil growing in garden. I shall try the deliciousness this weekend. I'm sure my other half will enjoy it very much too.
