Stuffed Tandoori Chicken




Ingredients;
Chicken-1,whole,skinned and cleaned
Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
Garam masala-1tbsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tbsp
Turmeric-1tsp
Pepper powder-1tsp
Lemon juice-2tbsp
Curd-1tbsp
Butter/oil 2tbsp
Potatoes-2 peeled and cubed
Salt as per taste


For the stuffing;
Eggs-2 small,boiled
Onion-1/2,sliced lengthwise
Garam masala-1/4tsp
Salt.
Oil-1tbsp
Take the cleaned chicken and make long slits on the breast and thighs.Mix salt,chilli powder and lemon juice.Rub it on to the chicken well.Now in a bowl add the yogurt,ginger garlic paste, butter, spices and salt.Mix well and coat the chicken with it.Cover outside and inside the stomach cavity as well.Let it rest for 2 hours (You may leave it in fridge overnite).
Now saute the onions for the filling,add the garam masala,eggs and salt.Stuff it inside the chicken.Fold the chicken's legs into the abdomen or tie it with a toin.Make a bed with the cubed potatoes on a baking tray lined with foil.Sprinkle some pepper and salt on to the potatoes.Place the chicken on this with the breast side up and cook it in the oven for 45mins at 180deg cel.Turn the chicken oven and cook for another 20 mins.
Serve with fried rice or naan!!!!!!!!!!!!
