Paneer Tikka Masala






For the tikkas;
Paneer-200 gms,cubed into bitesize portions
Capsicum-cubes or squares,1 cup-try different colours
For marination
Yogurt-2tbsp
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Chilli powder-1/2tsp
Cumin powder-1/2tsp
Garam masala-1tsp
Salt as per taste


Mix the ingredients for marination and coat the paneer and capsicum with it.Leave it for 5 mins.Meanwhile preheat the oven.On a skewer the paneer and peppers and let it cook in the oven for 10 to 12 mins,or until the paneer turns golden brown.Alternately you can use a pan instead.


For the masala;
Thick yogurt-1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
Onion-1,medium,slized lengthwise
Chilli powder-1/2tsp
Garam masala-1tsp
Cumin powder-1/2tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil-2tbsp




Heat the oil in the pan.add the onions and let it brown.You need to fry it.Remove the fried onions and add it into the yogurt to make a sauce.Add ginger-garlic paste to the hot oil,stir it well then add the onion-yogurt mix and the remaing masala powders.Stir it well until the gravy oozes  oil.Add in the p&p tikkas and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves!!!!!!!! Serve with rotis or naan!!!!!
