Beef cultet

Cutlets are prepared in a number of ways in different parts of the world.
In Indian cuisine, a cutlet specifically refers to cooked meat (mutton, pork, fish and chicken) stuffing that is fried with a batter/covering. The meat itself is cooked with spices - onion, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, coriander (cilantro), green chillies, lemon and salt. The potato is boiled, mashed and mixed with finely cut green chillies and coriander and salt. This is then dipped in an egg mix and then in breadcrumbs, and fried in ghee or vegetable oil.


Ingredients:
Beef -1kg
Onion-1 medium sized
ginger-1/2 inch
 mint leaves-5 t 6 leaves
ginger garlic paste-2tsp
potatoes-boiled and mashed-1 medium sized
turmeric powder-1tsp
garam masala-2 tsp
chilli pwder-1tsp(optional)
cumin powder-1tsp
pepper powder-1/2 tsp
green chilli-2
egg-2  beaten
bread crumbs
oil for deep frying

Pressure cook the beef with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric and a  little water.the meat will ooze ou t water.Cook till all the water evaporates.Mince the beef in a mincer.Take a pan, add 1 tsp of oil.put the onion,ginger, green chilli, mint leaves (mince these well separately) .Saute it well.Add the chilli powder,cumin powder, garam masala,pepper powder and salt.roast it few minutes and then mix the minced beef.fry this mixture till the ingredients are dry.Move it off the stove ,let it cool down.Now mix it with the mashed potato.Shape into desired shaped cutlets.Now heat oil in a pan.Dip the cutlets in the egg and roll it well in the bread crumbs.Deep fry it for 2-3 minutes till it gets a brown colour.Serve it with ketchup or salsa!!!!!!
