This is my first recipe on this blog.Very new to blogging.
Clean cut crab-1kg
Large Onions-2 cut into small pieces
Tomatoes-2 cut into small pieces
Ginger minced- 1to2 tbsp
Garlic minced 1-2 tbsp
green chilli -2 slit lengthwise
curry leaves-1 sprig
Red chilli powder-1tbsp
Coriander powder-1tbsp
Turmeric powder-1tsp
Garam masala powder-1tbsp
H2o -2cups(300mls)
Salt as per taste.
Oil 2tbsp
I used the frozen cleaned and cut crab from the shop.Put the crab in hot water for 10 mins. In a pan add oil,add the onions, ginger,garlic, green chilli and curry leaves.Saute it till brown then add all the masala powder.Roast it on a low flame.Add the tomatoes.cook it till the oil separates.Add the crab , mix it with the masala and add water and salt.close with a lid and cook it for 5 minutes.Remove the lid and cook it till the water reduces to have a nice gravy.Put the coriander leaves ,close the flame and leave for half hour.
Serve with chappati or rice.
