Chicken Seekh Kebabs


Ingredients;
Chicken-1kg,boneless,minced
Ginger-1inch
Garlic-3cloves
Mint leaves-6 to 8
Coriander-3 to 4 sprigs
Green chillies-3
Red chilli powder/paparika-1/2tsp
Cumin powder-1/2tsp
Chat masala-1/4tsp
Garam Masala-1/2tsp(optional)
Pepper powder-1/2tsp
Oil/Butter-2tbsp
Salt as per taste
Skewers-wooden or metal



Mince the green chillies,ginger,garlic,mint and coriander together.Now add this and the spices to the minced chicken with the salt.Mix it well together.If you mince chicken at home.You may choose to add all the ingredients together while mincing.This ensures that the spices blend well.Apply little oil to the palm and take a ball of minced chicken.Insert the skewer into this and slowly shape it into kebabs .
Grill in a preheated oven at 200 deg cel for 20 mins.Turn it around and let it grill for 5 mins.Heat a pan and add 1tbsp oil/butter.Place the kebabs on the pan and let it cook each side for a minute.This is to give colour to the kebabs.
Serve with salads,tortillas and mint-coriander raita!!!


Mint-coriander raita ingredients;
Mint-10 leaves
Coriander-3 sprigs
Yogurt-1cup
Salt as per taste
In a blender add the herbs,salt and 5 tbsp of the yogurt.Blend it well.Mix this with the remaining yogurt.

To make a roll;
Add the salad to the tortillas,pour some raita and place a kebab at the centre.Now roll this and serve!!!!!!!!!!

Hi.. I tried this today... couple of problms :( faced. Please tell me what might be wrong in what i have done. The minced chicken was not sticking easily to the skewers. I soaked skewers 10 mins. Also turned out very crispy in the oven.Flavor & everything else was ok... Please do let me know.Thanks.
